Meet The Team

DaJuan Brown serves as the Chief Executive Officer of United Hope of Buffalo NY, providing strategic leadership, vision, and organizational oversight. In this role, he supports governance, fundraising, and the development of strong community partnerships that advance the organization’s mission. DaJuan works closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers to guide sustainable growth, strengthen neighborhood-based programs, and ensure United Hope continues to meet immediate needs while building long-term stability for individuals and families across Buffalo, New York.

As Program Administrator for United Hope of Buffalo, NY Dana Loyd provides strategic oversight of community outreach programs, ensuring effective coordination, implementation, and operational excellence. She manages program logistics, volunteer coordination, community partnerships, and grant-funded initiatives to ensure services are delivered efficiently, equitably, and in alignment with organizational goals.

Dana plays a key role in program planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, supporting strong accountability practices and continuous improvement. Her work ensures that programs are data-informed, responsive to community needs, and capable of demonstrating measurable outcomes and sustainable impact across all initiatives.

Alecia Cunningham serves as Board Chair of United Hope of Buffalo, NY providing governance leadership and strategic oversight to advance the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability. She works in close partnership with organizational leadership to ensure programs and initiatives remain mission-aligned, outcomes-focused, and responsive to community needs.

In her role, Alecia promotes strong governance practices, transparency, and organizational accountability, supporting effective board operations, policy development, and compliance with nonprofit standards. Her leadership helps ensure responsible stewardship, sound decision-making, and the organization’s capacity to deliver measurable community impact.

Alfear Turley serves as Director of Community Engagement for United Hope of Buffalo, NY leading outreach and community-facing initiatives that strengthen participation and access to services. In this role, Alfear coordinates community awareness efforts, supports event planning and execution, and assists with volunteer engagement to ensure programs are delivered effectively.

Alfear plays a key role in ensuring food distributions and community events are accessible, well-organized, and responsive to community needs. This position supports strong on-site implementation, community participation, and the organization’s capacity to deliver services efficiently while maintaining a positive and inclusive experience for participants.


Larry Singletary serves as Communications Coordinator for United Hope of Buffalo, NY leading the development and management of external communications that elevate organizational visibility and community engagement. He is responsible for creating and disseminating program updates, event communications, and impact-focused messaging across digital platforms and outreach materials.

Larry works closely with organizational leadership to ensure all communications are clear, consistent, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals and program objectives. His role supports transparency, accessibility, and stakeholder engagement by ensuring timely and reliable information about services, initiatives, and community events reaches the public and key partners.

Rosa Allen serves as the Operations Support Coordinator for United Hope of Buffalo, NY providing essential behind-the-scenes support that helps keep programs, events, and daily operations running smoothly. She assists with coordination, logistics, scheduling, and administrative tasks, ensuring that community initiatives are well-organized and efficiently executed. Rosa plays a key role in supporting staff and volunteers, maintaining operational flow, and helping United Hope deliver reliable, impactful services to the neighborhood.
